Learn to Ski Options

Two ways to get started on the mountain. Choose the option that fits your child best.

Liberty Resort Slope Days Program

A Friday only program at Liberty Resort for beginner skiers and snowboarders.

Includes lift tickets, rentals, and lessons.

Each Friday starts with a one-hour lesson taught by Liberty instructors.

Package Information  

Final pricing will be released by Liberty.

Estimated 5-week package (~$350) includes:

  • Full rental equipment: skis, boots, poles (optional), and helmet, or a snowboard, boots, and helmet.

  • A one-hour professional lesson at a scheduled time.

  • A lift ticket for each program evening.

Epic Pass holders are welcome to join the Slope Days program by purchasing just the lessons or rentals:

5-week Lessons Only: ~$170

  • 5-week Rentals Only: ~$140

Program Overview

Here’s what to expect on a typical day at Slope Days:

  • Upon arrival, club advisors help participants get oriented, pick up rentals if needed, and make sure they are ready for their lesson.

  • Each child then joins a one-hour lesson with instructors from the Liberty Ski & Ride School. Lessons are included in the program and are strongly encouraged, especially for newer skiers and snowboarders.

  • After the lesson, participants can continue skiing or snowboarding with friends until it is time for the club to depart.

  • For additional beginner information, including what to wear, how to read a trail map, and what to expect on the mountain, families can review the Liberty Resort Beginner’s Guide.

How to Sign Up

Registration for Slope Days is handled directly through Liberty Resort. Details and instructions will be shared when  the program opens.

MC Ski Summit Program

Structured small-group skiing with a dedicated leader and built-in flexibility.

Offered on Fridays and Sundays based on group formation and interest.
Includes direct parent communication with the group leader and daily updates in Spond.

What’s Included  

With the Summit add-on ($250):

  • Small-group skiing with a dedicated leader

  • 1.5-hour guided skill development session

  • Set meeting times and on-mountain check-ins

  • Guidance and coordination throughout the day

  • Direct parent communication with the group leader and daily updates in Spond

Includes a $250 credit toward the Seven Springs trip.
Lift access and equipment required separately.

Program Overview

Here’s what to expect on a typical day with Summit:

  • When the bus arrives, participants are met by their group leader and checked in.

  • Kids start the day skiing together with their group leader, focusing on building skills and confidence.

  • The group follows a structured plan with set meeting points and check-ins throughout the day. Parents can communicate with the group leader at any time in Spond.

  • After the initial session, participants can continue skiing with the group or spend time skiing with friends before regrouping.

  • The group meets for a final ski-down and a brief discussion to reflect on the day, what they enjoyed, and what they want to improve..

  • At the end of the day, parents receive an update.
