CHAPERONES

The club needs chaperones. We cannot run trips without extra adult supervision, so please be sure to notify us ASAP in case you can't chaperone a trip you signed up for. Please provide plenty of notice, so that we have time to find a replacement.

Your duties will be simple. Chaperones are welcome but not required to ski. Read the following information below before signing up as a chaperone.

Briefing

• Chaperones have to be 21 or older with a valid drivers license.

• If you are driving, your vehicle must have valid insurance and have space for one person and their gear.

• Chaperones should come 15 minutes prior departure.

• You may bring additional people if you are driving, but keep in mind that you may need to drive to the hospital if a club member is injured.

• We will do our best to provide chaperones a free lift ticket based on the availability.

 

Duties on the Bus and at the Mountain

• If you are the bus leader, you will check attendance as kids get on the bus, and verify that all kids are in the vehicle prior departure from the mountain.

• Assist younger club members.

• Be prepared to drive to the hospital if you are a driver.
